Please log on to the HSBC HK App and follow these steps:

  1. Go to 'Cards' and swipe to the card you want to add.
  2. Select 'Add to G Pay'.
  3. Read and agree to the disclaimer, then choose 'Get verification code'.
  4. Enter the OTP we sent you by SMS, then select 'Confirm'.

Note:

  • The address and card details you add to Google Pay will not change what's in our banking records.
  • If you have more than one Google account, you can select the one you prefer when you first open the app. You can switch accounts on the app any time. The cards you add are linked to a combination of both your device and account – so if you switch accounts, you'll need to add the card again to use it with the account.
  • You can add the same card to up to 9 device / account combinations.
  • The first card you add will become your default card. That means payments will be made with this card unless you set another card as the default. You can change your default card any time – simply choose another card and select 'Make default for contactless'.
  • You can also remove a card from Google Pay any time – just choose the card and select 'Remove payment method'.
