HSBC Premier provides a full range of banking and education support, such as exclusive offers from professional education consultants, education seminars, and research insights. There's also dining and entertainment privileges for you and your family.

While both insurance products cover unlimited number of trips in a period of insurance, a multi-trip travel insurance usually has a shorter duration limit for each trip, such as 100 days per trip. With Overseas StudySurance, the duration of each trip can be more than 100 days, which is designed to cover a student for full academic years. Other benefits specially designed to support overseas study, and which are not offered by travel insurance, include irrecoverable school fees protection, education fund, and coverage for the student taking on an internship or part-time job (non-manual employment only) during the study trip.

You'll need to show us:

proof of enrolment, eg. a copy of your student card, admission letter or registration from school
proof of identify (applicable to new HSBC customer only)

Permanent Hong Kong ID (HKID) card holder will need to show their HKID card copy. Non-permanent HKID card holders will need their HKID card copy (if available) and passport page with photo when applying for the HSBC Visa Gold Card for Students.
