Cash Credit Plan

Download and fill out an application form, then mail it back to us with the required documents to the address specified on the form.

• Minimum loan amount: HKD2,000
• A finance charge may apply if the credit card statement balance is not repaid fully

• Late payment/returned cheque/rejected autopay charges: refer to the bank tariff guide or the credit card terms
  
• Finance charge: this will accrue daily if you have not repaid the approved withdrawal amount and the preferential interest in full by the credit card monthly statement date after the preferential interest rate end date as specified in the approval letter, or if your card account is delinquent. Please see the bank tariff guide for details.

You might be asked to provide supporting documents to proceed with your application for a Cash Credit Plan.

A finance charge will apply to the outstanding approved withdrawal amount on a daily basis. It will be calculated at a preferential interest rate per annum ('preferential interest rate'). It starts on the credit card monthly statement date that immediately follows the date that the approved withdrawal amount is transferred to your designated account, as specified in the approval letter. And it ends on the credit card monthly statement date after the 'preferential interest rate end date', as specified in the approval letter.

Thereafter, the finance charge will be calculated according to the same finance charge interest rate that applies to your credit card, as stated in the bank tariff guide. The finance charge will be calculated and accrued on a daily basis.

The preferential interest rate applies only to the approved withdrawal amount under a Cash Credit Plan. All other outstanding credit card balance, including card purchases and cash advances, will be subject to the interest rates and finance charges set out in the bank tariff guide.

The terms and conditions of the 'set-off' gives us the right to combine or consolidate the outstanding balance on your card account with the balance in any of your other HSBC accounts. This may be done without prior notice.

Additionally, if you're the primary cardholder, our right extends to the outstanding balance on the card account of any additional cardholders.

We're also entitled to transfer or set off any money outstanding to the credit of any other accounts you hold with us, in or towards the settlement of your liability to us.
