My credit card is lost or stolen. Where can I report the incident and request a replacement?
Lost or stolen credit cards should be reported as soon as possible. You can report and request replacements via the HSBC HK Mobile Banking app or HSBC Online Banking. Learn how to report a lost or stolen card.
I have forgotten my username and password. What do I do now?
If you've forgotten your username and password, you can recover them on the Personal Internet Banking log on screen by clicking ‘Forgot your username or password' and then selecting ‘Recover username and security details’. Please make sure you have registered a valid mobile number and email address. You'll need to provide your bank account number, ATM PIN and identification document number, and input a SMS verification code sent by us for verification to retrieve your username and password.
How do I view my eStatement or eAdvice?
You can follow the steps below to view the eStatement or eAdvice:
HSBC Online Banking:
Hover over 'Banking' from the top menu, go to 'eStatements & eAdvices' and select ''View eStatements and eAdvices"
Scroll down and select the eStatement / eAdvice you wish to view. It will download automatically, and your statements will be displayed and sorted by year, then by date by default
HSBC HK Mobile Banking App*:
Select the avatar icon on top right corner
Select 'eStatements and eAdvices' under 'My Documents'
Select the account
View the eStatement or eAdvice you want to check
You may zoom-in and zoom-out

How can I pay a bill online?
Please select "Pay & transfer" > "Local transfers / payments" > "Pay your bills". If you have saved merchants or charities, please select "My Payee" and proceed accordingly with your respective merchant.
How can I transfer to other accounts that have not yet registered in "My Payees"? Do I need my Secure Device/Mobile Security Key?
You can make Hong Kong dollar or foreign currency transfer to HSBC, non-HSBC or even overseas accounts by selecting the payment services under the 'Pay & transfer' tab. You will need your Security Device/Mobile Security Key to complete this transaction. The default maximum transfer limit to new payee is set at HKD0 per day. You can change the transfer limit anytime with your Security Device/Mobile Security Key by selecting 'Pay & transfer' from the top menu > 'Settings' > 'Daily payment and transfer limits'.
At the same time, if you want to save your payee detail in Move Money input page, simply tick the check box "Add to My payees". After the transfer is authenticated with your Security Device/Mobile Security Key, the new payee’s details will be added as your registered account. The default maximum daily transfer limit for this payee is HKD50,000. You may change the transfer limit or delete this payee via HSBC Internet Banking after the instructions are effective.
The new payee instructions will be effective on the next working day when submitted before 9.00pm from Monday to Friday or 6.00pm on Saturday. Instructions will be effective in two working days when submitted after 9.00pm from Monday to Friday or 6.00pm on Saturday or on Public Holiday.
What is the SWIFT Code and other information needed to do a Telegraphic Transfer (TT) from an overseas bank to your account with HSBC Hong Kong?
If you would like to transfer funds by Telegraphic Transfer (TT) from an overseas bank to your account with HSBC Hong Kong, please provide the sending bank with the following information:

For each incoming Telegraphic Transfer (TT), the local service fee is waived. Overseas charges may be levied by overseas banks and/or other banks.
Can I receive the one-time passcode sent by SMS to complete my instruction submitted via Phone Banking or Personal Internet Banking when I am overseas?
If you are overseas and using overseas mobile service providers, the service provider may not support receipt of international SMS. Please be reminded to turn on your mobile phone and activate your roaming service to ensure you can receive the one-time passcode to complete the instruction submitted via Phone Banking or Personal Internet Banking when you travel to Mainland China / overseas.
